Daye, a leader in female health innovation, offers products ranging from period care to probiotics, contraception support, and at-home STI testing.
My primary role at Daye was to lead the design and development of their STI testing app. I led the end-to-end design process, working closely with cross-functional teams to transform intricate medical protocols into a seamless, user-centered digital experience.
The goal was to ensure the app was intuitive, accessible, and perfectly aligned with Daye's commitment to empowering users through innovation.
Our initial research for the project focused on identifying the key steps required to perform the at-home test, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience. From this, we developed a user flow to map out each stage of the process. These insights informed the creation of wireframes.
Once the user flow was finalised, we quickly created wireframes and prototypes, which we tested with our user panel to gather early feedback and validate our approach.
Full prototype hereWe conducted wireframe testing with a diverse group of users, primarily those familiar with the brand’s products, such as tampons and CBD balms. For this project, we specifically targeted sexually active individuals who were comfortable participating in the testing.
This involved planning user tests, including defining target users, selecting platforms, recruiting participants, conducting the tests, and compiling findings to inform the next steps.
